Assembly Operative Electronics
We currently have another exciting new role for an additional Assembly Operative to work with an established manufacturing client based in Southampton which will provide an excellent opportunity for a candidate wishing to work within electronics and assembly and is temporary to permanent after 12 weeks for suitable candidates.
The role will involve working from drawings, following instructions, crimping and assembling wires and small parts as well as inspecting and checking finalised items. There may be soldering to be completed but training will be provided.
Previous assembly experience or soldering would be advantageous although not essential as training will be provided and candidates will be working alongside another staff member until confident, Candidates must have excellent attention to detail, the ability to handle small parts and be confident working in a small friendly team. This role will involve periods of standing whilst working due to the nature of the role.
This role will be working 37hrs per week Monday-Friday on day shift with an early finish on Friday and there is a salary increase after a qualifying period. This position will be an immediate start after a successful interview for the right candidate. This role is easily commutable but there is parking available on-site if required.
