Working in a large electronical manufacturing company, a position has become available which is full time, permanent and offers long term progression. Experience assembling electromechanical devices and subassemblies, high school diploma or equivalent trade school education, knowledge of and demonstrated ability in the use of hand tools including soldering equipment, screwdrivers, wrenches, and heat guns.
The ideal candidate will have understanding of health and safety and quality procedures,, You will have experience operating in a lean manufacturing environment, comfortable with use of Microsoft Office Suite, ideally previous electronics experience, with good manual dexterity.
You will have soldering experience, and daily duties will include:
General assembly on subassemblies utilising appropriate assembly procedures
Building mechanical assemblies using hand tools
Placing PCBs onto test bed of nails test jigs
Test subassemblies in electronic test fixtures
Working hours are Monday – Thursday 7.30 – 4.00pm with 30 minute lunch break and Friday 7.30 – 1.30. Salary is dependant on experience, and more information on this position is available to suitable candidates. Interviews are being arranged immediately for those who have the correct skill set.
