The successful candidate will:
*Be experienced in hand soldering components and wire leads into subassemblies/PCB's and crop as required.
*Test subassemblies in electronic test fixtures, as well as place PCBs onto test bed of nails test jigs.
*Be knowledgeable in assembling electromechanical devices and subassemblies, as well as have experience setting up equipment needed to assemble the printed circuit assemblies. i.e. ladder racks and assembly frames.
*Be skilled in performing basic troubleshooting protocols and rework for non-conforming units.
*Insert components into Printed Circuit boards following written instruction and/or referring to a sample or diagram.
The Assembler / Solderer will have knowledge of and demonstrated ability in the use of hand tools including soldering equipment, screwdrivers, wrenches, and heat guns. They will also have the ability to be flexible and handle priority changes as they occur and meet expected daily production requirements.
The Assembler / Solderer will be ideally IPC-A-610 certified and have thorough understanding of workmanship standards and quality control procedures including compliance for ESD, as well as have experience in operating in a lean manufacturing environment.
