Assay Development Scientist in Stirling

Jade Mosley is recruiting for a number of Assay Development Scientists for a rapidly growing research and development company. The Assay Development Scientist will be working at the site in Stirling on a permanent basis. This client is offering an opportunity to be involved in transforming In Vitro Diagnostic testing and provide next generation healthcare.

As an Assay Development Scientist, you will assist in the development of diagnostic assays.

Further responsibilities will include:
- Developing assay methodologies
- Designing and executing appropriate experiments.
- Planning and carrying out batch ordering and meter testing and developing new testing protocols
- Solving problems encountered during assay development innovatively and independently.
- Creating and maintaining quality records
- Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Knowledge and experience of using particle-based immunoassays
- Experience managing laboratory technicians.
- Knowledge of diagnostic immunoassay technology.
- Knowledge of fluorescent detection methods.
