Our partner school are looking to recruit an aspiring primary school teacher to take on the role as a Teaching Assistant for the next academic year to gain classroom experience. The Witham school are keen to grow their own teachers and have a fantastic Teacher Training programme.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the class teacher’s throughout EYFS-upper KS2. You’ll be able to grasp a great understanding of school life first-hand and the curriculum. From observing the class teachers, you will develop your interaction and teaching skills enabling yourself to take pupils out on 1:1 and small group sessions before taking lead and delivering your own pre-planned lessons.

This Witham based primary school has a community feel and is run by a strong SLT. You will be supported by the great network of experience teachers and your own personal mentor as well as enrolled onto regular CPD training.

To be considered for this role you will need a 2:1 in your primary teaching related degree. You must have a keen passion to teacher and inspire the younger generations.
