Our Client, a very large Blue Chip Organisation, has a very exciting opportunity for an Asphalt Plant Manager based in Harlow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to manage a large facility with a very large company where the opportunity for progression are massive.

The scope for this role includes:-
To develop and implement planned and preventative maintenance schemes for Asphalt

* Ensure compliance with planning constraints and other applicable regulations.
* Contribute to planning applications when required.
* Actively work to promote good relations with local communities.
* Asphalt Production and Stock Management.
* Manage stock in line with demand profiles.
* Develop high performing unit operations teams with a culture of delivery and continuous improvement.
* Use data to identify trends and then take appropriate action to make business improvements.
* Work with commercial, logistics and technical colleagues to promote good customer relationships.
* Communicate and role model continuous improvement priorities.

To be the successful candidate for this position you will boast:

* Working towards or achieved NVQ SHE Level 4.
* Experience of planning manning levels.
* Working knowledge of SHE legislation and best practice.
* Communication and influencing skills.
* Control of site staffing levels and annual leave.
* Practical problem solving skills.
* Coaching skills.
* Product, customer and market knowledge.
* Relevant legislation and regulations.
* Knowledge of best practice production systems thinking and implementation.
* Financial understanding.
* Target setting, reviewing and monitoring.
* Change Management.
* Knowledge of reactions to change on workforce.
