Our Client, a leading cement and aggregate supplier to the building and construction industry is currently recruiting for an Asphalt Plant Manager, to work out of their Forestwood site in Cardiff
The Company provides a wide range of aggregates and cement products to the DIY, building and construction markets across the UK.
Ensuring compliance with all Company and Statutory Health, Safety and Environmental policies and regulations, promoting best practice with the team in all aspects of the operation.
Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved by ensuring fast turnaround of Asphalt collect customers and delivered customers.
Managing the effective operation and maintenance of all assets to maximise productivity and control costs against agreed budgets
Management planning and implementation of preventative and unplanned maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of the site.
Commitment to managing and motivating plant staff on a day to day basis, focusing on individual personal development through personal support and the identification and implementation of specific training needs, good engagement and leadership skills.
Maintaining administrative records in all areas of the business including Health, Safety and the Environment; Personnel; sales; Procurement, Quality and Energy Management.
The successful candidate should be self motivated, responsible and have excellent inter-personal skills.
Experience gained in Coated operation
Competence in electrical and mechanical maintenance programmes
Competent user of IT systems, including SAP
Excellent interpersonal Communication and people management skills
NEBOSH/NVQ Level 4 Gained of progressing towards
Up to date personal CPD Folder.
