Asia Brand Manager

Our client is a Gaming Company that is looking to hire an Asia Brand Manager to join their team at Isle of Man office;

Purpose of the role:

The Asia Brand Manager is a commercial role that will ensure their Brand meets P&L Targets

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Run a team responsible for all marketing for the brand
  • Use strategic campaigns which are coordinated with our partner brands to drive sales
  • Drive sales through our established affiliate network
  • Understand the legal landscape and create innovative marketing ideas based on this

  • Evaluate and propose improvements to all aspects of our web and mobile site
  • Use existing CRM processes to increase the value of the acquired database
  • Create and set up methods for evaluating regional and local campaigns
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Asia team

  • Head of B2B, Marketing, Operations and Product
Person Specification, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
  • Prior experience of sports marketing
  • Experience from marketing of products that rely almost directly on brand strength and customer's word of mouth. It is also an advantage if the candidate has worked in areas with tight restrictions on marketing activities (the tobacco or alcohol industry for example)
  • Experience of building brands and campaigns directly targeting consumers
  • Understanding of what it is that makes a great web and mobile site
  • Understanding of CRM and how big data can make a difference in how you work with your customer database
  • Understanding of the basics of good Customer Service and Internet payments
  • An analytical mindset where you use data as the foundation for planned activities whenever this is possible
  • Experience from negotiating with media where you have applied your marketing skills
  • You are an outgoing individual who at the same time inspires confidence
  • Your strengths are a mix of creativity, marketing and the ability to properly run profit and loss centres.
  • You have a general understanding of Internet technology and how new technology can be used to generate sales
  • Understanding of Chinese culture in general and specifically Chinese consumer behavior
  • Ability to think strategically but also to pay close attention to details when needed
  • A proven track record of driving a commercially successful business
  • Written and spoken Chinese is an advantage but not a necessity
  • Experience in online gambling is a strong advantage but lack of such experience not a disqualifying factor in itself
