ASD Teaching Assistant - Bristol

Here at Monarch Education we are looking for an experienced person to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, particularly with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). We are working in partnership with a Special School in Bristol who are looking for caring, energetic and hard-working individual to provide 1:1 support for pupils with Autism (ASD)

The successful candidate will be joining a very successful and welcoming school that are looking to add to their team as of September 2017. The successful candidate will working with KS2 pupils on the Autistic Spectrum who have limited levels of communication and at times can present challenging behaviour. We are looking for a patient, strong and understanding candidate who can build on the achievements of the young people so far.

The school requires the successful candidates to be:
*Experienced supporting pupils or adults with Autism
*Skilled working with pupils with communication difficulties; PECS training is advantageous but not essential
*Able to demonstrate the impact you have had a child's progress and development
*Any form of SEND experience
