About the role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Barnet seeking a SEN Teacher to work within the PE department, leading a small group of SEN students.

The school have a specialist department within Physical Education and have SEN students who are supported by specialist Teaching Assistants across the school.

Within this position, you will be responsible for teaching a small group of students with High Functioning Autism through to severe and Non-verbal ASD

  • This will be a Long term position - September start


What qualities are we looking for?

  • You must have extensive experience teaching Special Needs students.

  • Teachers must hold UK QTS

  • Qualified teachers with an interest in moving into SEN are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Recent experience and a genuine passion for teaching SEN pupils is desirable. All applicants will need to hold a current enhanced DBS and be fully compliant to work in the UK. To apply for a teaching position holding UK QTS is essential.
