Impact Teachers are recruiting for an enthusiastic, proactive and engaging SEN Teaching Assistant seeking full time work in a dedicated South London School with fantastic, new facilities.
You must be able to work full-time, 5 days a week. This role is ideal for graduates with a Psychology, Social Science or core subject degree (English, Maths or Science) eager to gain further experience before embarking on a PGCE.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with students with a special need within any capacity - previous TA work, nannying, after school clubs etc. However, full training is provided. Knowledge and understanding of ASD is also ideal.
You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS unless you previously have one registered on the update service.
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Experience working with SEN considered an asset
- Proven experience of supporting young learners in an educational setting
- Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills
- Ability to follow instruction and use initiative
- Work well as part of a team
