Asbestos Surveyor

Selective Resourcing are partnering a leading asbestos management and environmental engineering company who are seeking P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyors covering the following areas;

  • Yorkshire / Humberside locations including but not exclusive to; Leeds, Harrogate, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Doncaster, York, Hull.
  • North West locations including; Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Merseyside.
  • South Lincolnshire including (but not exclusive to); Grantham, Stamford.
  • Cambridge
  • Norfolk / Suffolk (including but not exclusive to); Norwich, Ispwich.

The role offers a flexible working from home policy and an autonomous approach to managing your own workload/time. The salary is paying up-to £30K plus company car and a wide range of sector work to include social housing, rail, commercial and schools. It's an exciting time to join with large growth and ambitious plans for 2018.

Core Accountabilities include carrying out all inspections and activities in accordance with current legislative requirements as well as carrying out all sampling strategies of asbestos containing materials in an appropriate and safe manor.

You lead all toolbox talks to outline site risks and employee responsibilities across your regional sites and complete all paperwork and risk assessments along with daily checks and appropriate use of PPE, RPE informing the plant managers of any defects. Other day to day tasks include Emailing survey reports, logging all accidents, near misses and ensuring that you are familiar with all site procedures.

You will able to work on an autonomous basis across your regional sites and will have had a solid background in a similar role.
