This prominent multi-discipline company provides high quality and professional services to a mixed portfolio of clients across the UK. Due to business requirements, they are currently seeking to employ an enthusiastic and ambitious Asbestos /Legionella Bid Manager to cover contracts in the North West. Applications from Preston, Blackburn and the surrounding areas will be welcome.

Requirements:
-Ideally looking for an individual who has a Degree/Higher Education qualifications.
-Come from a bid management, sales, business development, commercial, project & risk management background.
-A good knowledge of commercial and other industries involved is essential.
-Possess excellent communication, management, organisation and presentation skills.
-Proficient in using the Microsoft Package.
-Have significant experience working within this role and the other industries involved.

Job Role:
-Seek and identify asbestos and legionella opportunities within the commercial, public and private sectors.
-Prepare and win bids - take responsibility of the bid process from start to finish.
-Manage the bid inputs i.e. from stakeholders, sales, marketing, finance, technical teams, legal etc.
-Get involved with the PQQ's by resourcing and gather the relevant information required.
-Work alongside the technical managers, making sure the technical and commercial aspects of the tenders are completed within the time specified.
-Liaise with technical managers and identify new opportunities.
-Prepare and review the technical side of the bids - ensure the quality of submission is accurate, presentable and market leading.
-Liaise with the regional office - making sure that client information is maintained and submitted accurately.
-Communicate with management with regards to feedback received.
-Get involved with sales and business development.
-Complete written proposals - preparing management summary.
-Delivering compliant and commercial bids - understand and resolve various business issues - technical, etc.
-Arranging post bid reviews and feedback with clients/customers.
-Deliver continued improvement in relation to tender documentation.
-Build and maintain a good working rapport with the Marketing Manager and clients.
-Dealing with any issues effectively and promptly.
