Artwork Coordinator

We are currently looking for an Artwork Coordinator to initially start on a 3 month FTC with the view to go permanent for my client based in Middleton.

Salary - 21,000
Start Date - ASAP

Key Responsibilities


*Ensure compliance on all artwork to the Company and legislative health and safety policies, procedures and standards of best practice.
*Provide input on design features and appropriate print processes.
*Check each version of artwork on receipt and each successive stage until approval in line with deadlines on the CPA and ensuring accuracy of content by comparison with technical brief provided.
*Liaise with the Product Launch Team to ensure all CPA timings are met.
*Raise purchase orders for all artwork and origination ensuring that costs are compared with the agreed customer and supplier price matrices.
*Issue technical specification for all printed componentry.
*Approve colour standards on all primary packaging before site manufacture stock and ensure these are provided to site QA.
*Maintain the agreed artwork management tool so that all projects are easily identifiable.
*Progress artwork by uploading amendments onto the unique on-line artwork systems required by customers nominated artwork/repro houses ensuring that unsubstantiated claims are not apparent on any artwork without RMB approval or customer endorsement.
*Manage and maintain RMB’s own artwork web-based system (ESKO) monitoring and checking the workflow system.
*Ensure purchasing briefs are up to date for all printed componentry.
*Arrange/create artwork and repro of secondary items in line with product launch CPA.
