Art Technician, DT Technician

Tradewind Secondary are recruiting! We are looking for a full time Art & DT technician for a popular and well run Secondary School in St Albans to start ASAP on an ongoing basis! An OFSTED 'Good' school requires a Technician to support across their Technology department and support the teacher staff and wider faculty. This is a full time, long-term role with a daily rate of between £90-£115 p/day depending on experience.

Duties will include; Preparing classrooms and equipment for lessons, supporting pupils with lessons including food technology and Design technology. A current health and safety certificate is an advantage but not essential. Other duties will include printing resources, stoke taking and stock management, you will also be required to ensure classrooms are clean and tidy.

Located in South St Albans the school offers a superb staffing team who work cohesively to support their students. Behaviour is good and the school is well organised.

In addition to a great working environment and supportive staff team, including tailored training and school CPD, not including Tradewind's free access to the National College CPD.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the ability to support the various different subjects of a busy and popular technology department, demonstrate your desire to work as a team and better the department.

• You will be required to provide a full working history since leaving education.
