The Role: The successful Area Sales Manager will be selling into OEMs in the main, with some time spent with end users and panel builders. This role is primarily new business orientated and you will be dealing with design engineers, production managers and panel builders. Full product and systems training are provided for the new area sales manager and this organisation has an active policy of promoting from within.

The Company: Established since the early 1970s and with an excellent reputation for the high quality of their products and customer service, this major manufacturer is currently recruiting a new area sales manager to cover the Midlands region. Their full product range includes HMIs, inverters, drives, PLCs and relays and they sell primarily on added value rather than price.

For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales skills
  • You will have sold automation products such as HMI, PLCs, inverters, drives or sensors
  • Candidates will be used to a transactional sell and be able to contract repeat business
  • Confident and personable sales people with a technical mindset

Benefits of this Area Sales Manager role:
  • £40,000 - £45,000 Base Salary
  • + £6,000 Commission
