They are growing year on year and looking for an enthusiastic Area Sales manager to champion their water solutions in the scientific sector /Laboratories . The opportunity comes with a high basic salary and uncapped commission coupled with great incentives for achieving targets.
This is ideal for someone who has sold into the Scientific sector or Labs. Someone who is eager to learn, hungry for quick career progression and loves speaking to clients face to face.
You will need to be based in one of the following locations Peterborough, Cambridge, Ipswich, Norwich.
Sourcing new leads, Cold calling of new Prospects/Customers to constantly ensure that the market is aware of the full range of water related technologies and services.
Managing the full sales life cycle from cold call/warm calls - meeting customer on site visits - preparing proposals.
promoting and selling a range of water treatment equipment and service products mainly into laboratory's and covering a territory which incorporates the South East of England.
Securing and developing new business and ensuring that existing customers are supported and managed in-line with proposal expectations
To nurture and develop sales and ensure prospect/customer needs and requirements are met within a timely and professional manner to ensure an appropriate source of procurement for the water systems, chemical conditioning programs, services and products which it offers.
To help in the smooth management of designs from initial contact with the client to full proposal being submitted.
Working with the Technical, Engineering and Operations departments to support sales and business development.
Research competitors and maintain own product knowledge
- A proven track history in field based sales and/or business development selling into the scientific or Labs is essential.
- A collaborative and consultative approach to prospecting opportunities working with internal colleagues to maximise opportunities and knowledge.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Technical competence and excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience of using CRM software or similar.
