Area Sales Manager - Vehicle Conversions
North - Leeds / Doncaster / or M62 Corridor Ideal
Base £32k to £40k base, plus £8k OTE, plus car & benefits
This is a field based sales role covering the North of England and is a 50/50 split between account management and new business. You are selling technical vehicle conversions - modular racking into the service vehicle sector. You will work with customers to design their vehicle interiors and produce your own quotes using design software. You will through a thorough and detailed hand-over process take responsibility for relationships with a portfolio of accounts and in addition will be tasked with identifying, prospecting and delivering profitable and sustainable new business.
Our client is the UK division of a leading manufacturer of modular racking solutions for service vehicles. In addition to a European head office and ten subsidiaries in Europe and Asia, they have global coverage through their partner network and their products are sold in 50 countries worldwide.
With previous mechanical / engineering experience, you have a track record of successful delivery in a field sales role building great relationships with accounts, maintaining and growing that business as well as securing new business. Ideally you have built your career in the vehicle conversion / vehicle racking industry but we will also consider an alternative technical sales position that targets the commercial vehicle sector. Knowledge of CAD an advantage but not essential.
