Our client company is growing rapidly due to large investments in product development, and wants you to sell their highly advanced polymer products to industrial users across a large territory. The role will be 70% new business generation and 30% key account management.
We're looking for you to have excellent knowledge of chemistry and/or materials science, along with a proven background in selling formulated chemical systems. Alternatively if you have a strong background in a technical role with some customer support, this might be a good route into a sales role for you. Polymer and or adhesive knowledge will be advantageous.
Outside of one day in the office your day-to-day will be visiting customers and potential customers delivering presentations and customer trials. You will need the communication skills to speak to all levels within the customers' companies. You will also follow up with existing customers providing after-sales support with the patented technology.
