Area Sales Manager - Chemicals
Our client offers a wide range of speciality chemicals, supplying into many industries, working in close cooperation with their many principals across the globe.
Due to a high demand for their services, our client seeks to recruit an additional member of its sales team. The ideal candidate will possess several years’ experience in a chemicals business.
·Managing sales of speciality chemicals throughout the UK
·Managing multiple sales projects with a diversity of suppliers and customers
·Responsible for the whole process: sales and business development, order management and payment terms
·Identification and procurement of materials from suppliers
·Capture relevant market information to anticipate client requirements and the emerging needs of potential accounts
·Managing initial technical enquiries
·To initiate discussions concerning business terms and conditions
·Working to clear financial goals and with the ability to set pricing within a given framework
Skills & qualifications:
·Excellent track record of sales and proven success in the sale of speciality materials and/or chemicals
·Knowledge of sales procedures, delivery terms and cultural issues relating to sales in overseas markets
·Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills
·An entrepreneurial individual who is self-motivated and results focused
