Our client a successful family owned business are currently recruiting for a Sales Development Researcher to join the regional sales teams at their headquarters in Chesterton, Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
The successful applicant will be working within a regional sales team and be responsible for researching prospective and new clients alike, creating and maintaining a thorough contact database, as well as supporting the Business Sales Development Manager day to day. This role will also be responsible for scheduling client appointments and managing follow-up activities in conjunction with the Sales Development Team.
Key Responsibilities: To research and develop new leads and sales opportunities in your geographical region. Gather company and contact data, inputting and updating information into a CRM database. Using business tools, project/lead subscription services, web and social media platforms to research prospective and new clients, collating project information relating to a range of market sectors Following up potential business to mature the lead. Support the Area Sales Development team with general administration duties relating to our CRM database and outbound marketing activities Arrange appointments and plan meetings with potential/existing contacts as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in sales development.
Ability to communicate confidently over the telephone.
Experience of CRM database systems.
Excellent admin and IT skills (experienced on MS office programmes).
Web and social media knowledge with the ability to navigate for research purpose.
Working Arrangements and Rewards:
Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 or 08.00 to 16.30
Half an hour unpaid lunch break 25 days holiday entitlement plus 6 bank and 2 public holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £18,000.00 to £20,000.00 /year
