An Area Relief Chef role is available at a contract catering company covering the Yorkshire region

Role:

A highly regarded contract catering company that focuses on preparing fresh, quality meals in all of its venues is seeking an Area Relief Chef to generally cover the Yorkshire region although there may be occasion when you have to go slightly further afield so it is important you can be flexible. This role will require you to cover holidays, sickness or offer extra support in a variety of different units that all have different dining options available to the clients. As Area Relief Chef you will be joining a progressive company that will allow you to develop your own abilities with the possible opportunity to progress to running your own unit should you prove yourself capable. As this is a contract catering company the hours will usually cover Monday to Friday day shifts although some contracts are seven day operations so there may be the some weekend cover required too.

Requirements:

A Head Chef or Sous Chef who has a stable background working in high quality, fresh food kitchens with the ability to adapt easily to different cooking styles and kitchens would be ideal for this role. A flexible chef who enjoys supporting others but can also be a leader when required will be well suited to this position.

*Due to the nature of the role it is essential that all applicants have their own transport*
