Description

The Area manager in Devon will;

  • Lead effective clinician recruitment and proactively support the on boarding process to minimise impact on delivery
  • Lead, coach and support practice managers in effectively managing the KPI's that drive performance, ensure that effective action plans are in place to improve every practices performance, utilise and interrogate management reports to support
  • Design and implement an area plan that provides our patients with the full range of treatments and keeps referrals in house
  • Ensure excellent practice regulatory compliance and clinical standards in line with relevant regulations and guidance
  • Conduct practice visits in line with regional plans
  • Ensure excellent practice regulatory compliance and clinical standards in line with relevant regulation and guidance
  • Working in partnership with your Clinical Support Manager, build and nurture collaborative relationships with the practice Clinical teams, always being proactive to retain Clinicians within mydentist
  • Recruit, retain, coach and develop the area team, leading them to be high performing utilising all mydentist people procedures
  • Support the effective training and development of all team members across the area
  • Lead by example with the area team and ensure your practice teams promote activities coming out of the mydentist engagement (GPTW) programme

Profile

The area manager in Devon will possess;

  • Multi-site operational management experience with a track record in growing performance and demonstrating strong leadership
  • Business acumen - analyse data and insight to make commercial decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trusted and effective relationships at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills including prioritising important deadlines whilst managing reactive business needs
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrates a 'can-do' attitude - advocating and championing change
  • Demonstrates the ability to coach and develop people
  • Experience of working in a dental environment or other healthcare or retail experience will also be accepted

Job Offer

The successful area manager in Devon dictates a salary of up to £45K + car + bonus
