As Area Manager you will be working for a Mobile Phone handset manufacturer working with the UK's leading mobile phone operator/s.
This is an amazing opportunity to work as part of our clients field based Sales & Marketing Team, representing a company / handset manufacturer who are currently extanding at an extremely fast rate due to phonemional sales throughtout the UK division (and worldwide). This role of Area Development Manager is ideal for someone with mobile phone retail sales experience coupled with some field based / regional expereince. You will need to have a passion for mobile technology and a drive for achieving sales targets. This role is based within a territory; however, we are looking for flexible individuals.
Objective is to focus on KPI achievement, specifically in hitting the sales targets. Driving each account to over achieve through meaningful business discussions born from commercial awareness.
You will be responsible for driving the business - using your toolkit to build territory and customer level strategic plans and then execute them daily. Constantly looking for and maximise on new opportunities and ways of working to increase return.
Know your territory - efficiently plan visits across covered stores to maximise on peak times and availability of key contacts. Treat it as your own business and develop meaningful, long lasting relationships.
Be a Area Development Manager - Don't just know the brand, live the brand, with energy and accountability. Positively promote product USPs, Imparting knowledge in every interaction. Offer competitor and market feedback.
Use your initiative - approach no two situations the same way. Think beyond what is normal. Drive sales through implementation of innovative techniques, creating best practice and sharing this with colleagues.
Area Development Manager Essential skills: Results driven individual with an understanding of return on investment

Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, exciting environment
Area Development Manager Requirements:
Passionate about technology, mobile and 1+ 2 years’ sales experience in the retail environment
Proven track record in hitting targets
Appropriate and timely recording of information for transfer to our reporting team
Adhere to company and client policies, procedures and compliance
Full driving licence
