£25,000 + company vehicle

The Role

As an Area Cleaning Supervisor, you will take full responsibility and accountability for the consistent delivery of high quality cleaning and support services across a number of allocated sites in Central London. You will supervise our on site cleaning teams to ensure a comprehensive cleaning service is provided to the client.

Further responsibilities are detailed below:

  • Carry out Quality Control checks of all cleaning activities to ensure a high standard of work is undertaken and maintained
  • Motivate staff to carry out required duties to a satisfactory standard and in a safe manner
  • Provide staff vocational training in line with site specific requirements on product use, cleaning methods, Health and Safety, security, and any other topics as directed
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies across multiple sites
  • Monitor, order and take delivery of cleaning materials and consumable items; and minimise wastage
  • Ensure that cleaner’s cupboards and allocated stores are kept neat, tidy and safe and that employee / safety handbooks /site documentation folders are onsite and readily accessible
  • Accurate and timely timesheet submission to payroll department
  • Monitor holiday calendar to minimise overlap, and organise cover to maintain correct staffing levels (for holiday, sickness and absentees)

About You

  • Experience in a similar role within soft services/high volume public realm with proven ability to supervise and motivate cleaning teams
  • Good time management skills, able to organise own and other’s workload in order to achieve job outcomes
  • Good communication skills, able to understand information, advise and liaise with others accordingly
  • Flexible and able to work on own initiative

Please note: candidates must hold a valid UK driving licence to be considered for this position

Working Hours

Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (must be flexible to work early and late shifts as required)

Salary and Benefits

£25,000 (dependent on experience)
