Engage Education are currently working with a number of SEN and mainstream schools in the Enfield area and require support staff for day-to-day and long-term positions for April / September 2018.
About the role

This role will enable you to work in a variety of local SEN and mainstream schools so you can expect short journey times and the opportunity to build rapport and strong working relationships. Engage Education works exclusively with a number of schools in the North East London area and are currently experiencing a high demand for SEN support staff.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children special educational needs and more specifically. We are specifically looking for support staff with a particular specialism such as ASD, Speech and Language, PMLD or EBD. Due to the nature of the students a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed. We are looking for recent graduates who are looking to build their experience working with SEN pupils and more experienced Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants. Qualifications such as NVQ L2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent are desirable but not essential.
Recent experience and a genuine passion for working with SEN pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis is essential. All applicants will need to hold a current enhanced DBS which is on the update service and be fully compliant to work in the UK.
