Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician to join a thriving practice on a permanent basis! Located near Milton Keynes, our client works across a number of projects throughout the UK. They offer a wide range of services which include planning consultancy, concept and architectural design and landscape architecture. Due to recent project wins, they are seeking an enthusiastic Architectural Technician to join them working on a number of large scale mixed-use schemes.
As the selected Architectural Technician, your main task will be to produce high quality detailed drawings and models based on the information you are given by the design team. You will be using industry software such as AutoCAD and Revit. You may also be required to liaise with clients to ensure drawings are kept to specifications given, and provide assistance to junior team members if necessary.
In order to ensure responsibilities are carried out effectively, it is essential for candidates to have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models
- Experience working on large scale projects in the UK, ideally multi-storey residential at detailed design stages
- Proficient user of Revit and/or AutoCAD software
- First-rate knowledge of current UK building regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good problem solving abilities
