Architectural Technician (1 - 3 Years PQE)

Manchester City Centre

£25,000 - £30,000

This is a completely homegrown Manchester practice of 40 staff. Manchester is the head office (and sole office in fact). The Directors are refreshingly made up of a mix of Architects and Technicians. The projects are an interesting mix of highly technical and design lead.

Big enough to be a regional if not national name. Small enough so you won't get lost and become a number.

The practices current focus is on the next generation of project leaders. That is why they don't want a 10 year Post Qualification Technician.

They've got some amazing experience in house, individuals you can learn from. You can learn the most advanced aspects of BIM collaboration, Revit Software usage and even software engineering.

You will learn from 2 or 3 of Manchester's VERY BEST Senior Technologists, who know how to produce solutions to every complex building type from Heavy Industrial to Healthcare, from High Density Residential to High Rise Apartments.

They need you to be switched on, engaged and above all ambitious. There is room to ask questions; to continue your development on LOCAL High Rise, Industrial, Health, Large Change of use schemes.

You'll get out on site, deal with sub consultants, suppliers and generally be pushed to the fore.

This isn't an AJ Top 10 practice where you will make the tea, do the visualisation and take a bit of a back seat. Instead, you'll be pushed forward and importantly; rewarded with promotion and an every growing need to give you higher and higher levels of responsibility.

Sense of humour is essential to work with this particular organisation and team.

For more get in touch with Matt. Or just apply and I'll more than likely get in touch!
