Your new company
A large household name in the house building industry, is seeking to recruit an experienced Architectural Designer to support the work of Architects and Senior Technicians. This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis in Stafford, West Midlands. You will be given a salary of between £23,000 to £30,000 depending upon experience.
Your new role
You will be responsible for generating high quality, accurate and detailed design packages for a number of new build and bespoke residential dwellings. You will be supporting the work of Architects and Senior Designers on these projects. You will be given full-responsibility of your designs from day one and you will have the opportunity to progress in this diverse and award winning company. You will be responsible for creating and co-coordinating desirable and efficient residential developments in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for negotiating and communicating the progress of planning applications.
What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced Architectural Designer, you will possess:
High level of proficiency in the use of AutoCAD 2D. 3D AutoCAD is desirable. You must be experienced in the use of AutoCAD in the residential sector. You will be trained with either a NHC or HND hold a degree. You must have experience of working in the residential sector and you must have a good understanding of building regulations and the planning process. Awareness of Code for Sustainable Homes is desirable. What you'll get in return
