As an Architect at this Global Architecture and Engineering Firm, you will:
- Compile information from reports and published documents, evaluating and analysing data to understand project requirements.
- Develop architectural designs that deliver exemplary solutions meeting quality parameters, project timelines, and budgetary requirements.
- Collaborate with other disciplines, ensuring seamless coordination of design intent throughout all project phases.
- Integrate engineering requirements, site surveys, and field review information, adhering to applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements.
- Prepare design reports, drawings, and models following office standards.
- Conduct site visitations to determine compliance with construction documents, identifying and resolving deviations in collaboration with owners and contractors.
- Review project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project documents, relevant jurisdictional codes, and corporate quality controls.
Qualifications and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in all phases of the project cycle.
- Proficiency in architectural design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PhotoShop, and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems, as well as building codes.
- Successful completion of related post-secondary education.
- Registration with a relevant professional architectural association is an asset.
- ARB registered.
