My client is an multi-disciplinary practice based in London who are looking to expand their team. They are currently looking for a Project Runner/Architect to join them to work across a number of different project sectors. My client work across many different services including Architecture, Project Management, Interior Design, BIM, Building Services, Master planning, Designing, Surveying and Visualising.
The successful candidate will be covering all sectors with a focus towards occupied buildings spread out across the country including residential and hotels along with some higher education and leisure across the UK.
You will be dealing with clients, colleagues, suppliers and other third parties ensuring a professional and varied amount of work daily and be doing the following:
Role and responsibilities;
-Concept and detail design work
-Technical development of projects
-Delivery of production information
-Production of reports, drawings, schedules and specifications
-Submission of planning and listed building applications, including writing heritage impact assessments and design and access statements
-Submission of building regulation applications, including coordination of technical material
-Site co-ordination and building contract administration
-Minimum of 3 years experience in the UK
-A desire to develop themselves professionally, with ownership of projects
-ARB and RIBA registered
-Have excellent design skills and experience across the residential, commercial or education/leisure sector.
-An excellent command of English, both written and spoken
-Present their projects confidently
-Undertake technical research relevant to projects
-Assist other team members and have good problem solving skills
Candidates should be able to hand-draw and sketch to a decent standard and be proficient in Revit (training will be provided for the right candidate)
AutoCAD, Revit and Microstation would be highly desirable.
Salary up to £36,000
