Job Title: Architectural CAD Technician

Owing to continued success we are seeking an established Architectural CAD Technician to join a well-established RIBA chartered practice based in Birmingham. This practice offers a full range of services from inception through to completion working with a wide range of Clients in various sectors with a focus on the residential and commercial sectors. They also work in education, health, arts and leisure.

The practice has been established for nearly 20 years and operates from its Birmingham office. Prospective candidates must have proven experience working of a variety of medium to large scale projects, ideally within the residential and commercial sector.

The role essentially requires someone who has at least 3 years' UK residential experience and is used to providing inventive and contemporary solutions for a variety of commissions. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD would be expected, 2-D as well as 3-D.

The role would be to join a team of talented Architect's willing to help the successful candidate gain experience as well as chartership down the line. While the role is based in Birmingham, you will be required to regularly liaise with clients up and down the country, so a full UK driving licence is preferable.

The ideal candidate will have:
· At least 3 years' experience in the UK residential sector
· Excellent technical and computer skills (AutoCAD 2-D and 3-D)
· Confidence to take the lead on multiple projects at once
