AR Team Supervisor with German

Reed is seeking a candidate looking for a brand new challenge. Responsibilities
• Manage a team of 4 to 7 people and report to the team leader of AR department
• Overview of the team activities and dealing with escalated issues
• Manage deductions, including monitoring customer deductions, matching with appropriate credit notes, and managing deduction discrepancies
• Review clearing of unallocated payments, management of pro-forma payments
• Perform daily bank to sub-ledger reconciliations and other finance AR related SOX controls
• Management of credit limit review process and cooperation with the master data team
• Engage in monthly debtors’ overview
• Engage in process improvement initiatives
• Maintenance of relationship with external and internal customers
• Participate in special projects by supporting management and the project team in various tasks.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and internal rules and regulations and provide support for internal and external audits as needed
• Other tasks related to the role required by your team leader and higher management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable
• Degree or diploma in finance/accounting and applicable knowledge
• Understanding of general accounting principles
• Czech and English minimum B2 + German minimum C1
• Experience in management of a small team is an advantage
• Experience with SAP
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in German
• Being able to work independently, take decisions, act rationally
• Team player
