Our client have a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice Receptionist/Administrator - the role will be primarily to cover the reception desk and assist with various admin duties tasks in all departments whilst completing your apprenticeship. You will be working 32.5 hours including study time which is done on the job.

Working hours: Monday 09:30 - 16:30, Tuesday 09:30 - 16:30, Wednesday 07:30 - 16:30, Thursday 11:00 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 16:30.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Covering reception desk, greeting visitors and keeping area presentable

  • Answering and distributing phone calls and taking messages as required

  • Making tea/coffee for visitors

  • Sorting and distributing incoming/outgoing post

  • Print, compile, bind and send documentation and technical construction files

  • Archiving, filing, photocopying and printing various documents

  • Organising travel arrangements - hotel bookings, train, flights etc.

  • Process leave forms - get signatures/update calendars and personnel files

  • Assisting Office Manager with recruitment, printing CV’s, organising interviews

  • Assisting sales with updating social media, creating newsletters etc.

  • Monitoring stock boxes and creating stock requests from workshop

  • Providing back up cover for goods in, purchasing and finance as required

    Essential Skills/ Experience:

  • Proven admin or office based work would be beneficial

  • Good MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM skills

  • Confident and professional telephone manner

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Motivated and enthusiastic
