Apprentice Customer Care Relations Officer

Location: Bolton

Salary: £129.50 per week. Paid monthly

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00, Total hours per week: 35

Expected apprenticeship duration: 12 months

On successful completion of apprenticeship, you will be offered a permanent position

About the Apprentice Customer Care Relations Officer role:

The successful candidate will learn, by working alongside an experienced Customer Care Officer,  all aspects of the resolution of written and verbal complaints made to the company in order to minimize the number of referrals and cases. The successful candidate will learn to investigate a complaint fully, looking at all correspondence and where appropriate, listening to calls to action a solution to the complaint.

Key Responsibilities of the Apprentice Customer Care Relations Officer:

  • Effectively deal with incoming phone calls, E Mails and letters to establish the nature of each complaint and how it can be resolved.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues as well as outside contractors
  • Follow guidelines to ensure that a full investigation takes place to resolve the complaint

Also, to be required to carry out any other duties which may reasonably be required.

Requirements of the Apprentice Customer Care Relations Officer:

  • The successful candidate will have the ability to work to demanding time scales and have an attention to detail.
  • Tenacity and commitment in making sure the customer’s complaint is fully resolved.
  • Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills & be able to maintain a positive demeanour when dealing with demanding customers.
  • Must be able to excel in written communications and have experience of Microsoft office.
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of complaint resolution
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to multi task
  • Applicant must be on time at designated place and will be agreeable to a DBS check
  • The successful candidate will have the ability to work to demanding time scales and have an attention to detail.

  • Have a good attention to detail
  • Be confident in talking to the clients and customers

Desired qualifications:

GCSE Maths & English grade 4-9 (A*-C) or equivalent qualifications or basic Maths and English skills as functional skills training can be provided.
