An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Appointments Office in Morriston Hospital, in the role of Appointments Office Supervisor.

The Outpatient Appointments Office is responsible for the provision of an effective patient focused service in respect of referral management, appointments reception and waiting list management.

The successful post holder will be expected to maintain and plan appropriate cover for all clerical roles within all areas and to provide a high quality service to patients and users of the service.

The post holder will assist the Office Manager in the efficient day to day operation of the department ensuring that all tasks are carried out to the required standards and in accordance with Health Board Policies. The postholder will have to be able to communicate effectively with staff groups and patients. The successful candidate will also collate information for reports. The role will involve the validation of waiting lists.

This role will include a minimum of one evening shift a week - hours 12:00-20:00

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
