SCOPE OF ROLE

Working within our busy sales department the Appointment Setter will be responsible for finding new business opportunities by outbound calling our database. The objective of the role is to qualify the prospective client, update the database and where possible book an appointment for one of our Field Based Sales team. You will be required to promote the aam group goods and services, and maximise the efficiency of the Field Base Sales team.

You will require excellent communication skills and a persuasive attitude. You will need a high attention to detail as accuracy of data is essential for good record keeping. You must be highly self motivated and possess the ability to adapt to each caller. A tenacious and positive mental attitude is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contact businesses by telephone to set appointments for AAM Business Development Managers
  • Deliver a scripted sales pitch and adjust where necessary to meet the needs of specific of our prospective clients
  • Handle customer questions and objections
  • Obtain customer information including names and addresses
  • Update and maintain the client records in our database
  • Schedule the appointment details into our IT system ensuring effective journey planning
  • Schedule follow up activities for every prospective record touched
  • Follow up future activities to generate a calling pipeline
  • Confirm the appointment with all parties
  • Sent follow up emails / business collateral where appropriate
  • Answer telephone calls from prospective clients who are responding to aam marketing activity

    • 80-100 dials per day
    • 8-10 Decision Maker contacts per day
    • 4 Appointments booked per day
    • Average talk time of 1m30secs
    • 100% of records touched, updated / noted
    • 100% of future follow-up activities recorded to maintain calling pipeline
    • 100% of appointments made recorded in the diary and confirmed by email
