My client in Milton Keynes are looking for an appointment setter to join there newly formed sales team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales person to have a new opportunity within a growing and successful company.
You must be able to find opportunities and set meetings for external sales reps. (An opportunity is a fully qualified lead that wants to discuss the services further with a sales rep)
Market sectors they target - Commercial only (B2B).
Excellent communications and interpersonal. Strong skills in both oral and written formats are required.
Consultative selling style is required. Strong probing and questioning skills are core to this role.
Attention to detail. Detailed notes are a necessity.
Ability to calmly and professionally ask questions and deal with questions from prospects.
Strong proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to self-manage time and prioritise key deliverables.
Ability to learn new products and services and adapt quickly to new areas of focus e.g. new industry sectors to call.
Minimum of two years sales experience, preferably phone based.
Make outbound calls to warm and cold leads to ascertain if there is any interest in my clients services, effectively understand the prospects needs and concerns as well as describe my clients services in a way that engenders interest.
Contact a wide range of prospects across various industry sectors to uncover requirements for our services.
Accurately update our software systems with all relevant information.
