A new vacancy has arisen for an Appointed Representative Business Development Manager in Leeds within a general insurance broker. This is a role that provides a route to market to those who wish to become self-employed insurance brokers, but who do not want to be directly authorised by the FCA. You will have access to the company's full list of agencies, including in-house binder facilities and other preferred supplier rates. You will be in complete control of the markets you wish to do business with, forming your own underwriter relationships and due to this, it also means that a much more attractive commission package is available. Assistance with marketing and back office support can also be provided.
You must have a strong broking background in either general commercial or personal lines insurances, or a mixture of both. You will retain ownership and control of your own clients. New business and development experience is also essential.
