Owing to a successful period of growth, a market leader in the development of Organic Semiconductor materials is now looking for an Engineer to support their Technology and Process Transfer activities.
Based at their site in County Durham, with regular travel to customer sites throughout Asia and Worldwide, your main focus is the transfer of processes, materials and technologies which have been developed in the UK.
You will project manage the transfer of technologies, manufacturing processes and materials into pilot and manufacturing lines, mainly in Asia.
Working with the materials and process engineering teams, you will develop manufacturable fabrication processes.
Working closely with the commercial teams you will ensure effective transfer into the customer facilities, in line with corporate objectives.
You will develop clear supporting documentation and data to demonstrate effective process transfer, to support the technology, manufacturing, materials and process transfer.
The role will require regular international travel, and therefore will suit an individual who is happy to be regularly be away from home for long periods of time.
You should be qualified to a minimum of Degree level in a Physics, Chemistry, Engineering or similar discipline.
You will have a proven track record in process and technology transfer, in the semiconductor industry.
This will include transfer of processes from UK sites to overseas pilot and manufacturing sites, providing support and training to engineers, scientists and key staff members from all stakeholders.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Passports and Visas will be requested for verification.
Candidates MUST be comfortable with regular overseas travel, particularly to Asia
