Our client, a leading provider of accountancy software, seeks an Application Support Technician responsible for providing telephone support to customers, managing queries through to resolution and escalating unresolved problems where required.
As the Application Support Technician you will become a subject matter expert in the use of the accounting software and will resolve user queries on accounting ledgers.
This role would ideally suit individuals that have previously qualified or working towards the AAT qualification, have been working within an accountancy, customer services or similar role and can demonstrate experience of working on or knowledge of accounting software with a good all round understanding of accounting ledgers and now looking for a change in direction or moving their career into IT.
Individuals must live within daily commuting distance of Peterborough, be highly customer focused, demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal; have the ability to liaise with customers at all levels; maintain good customer relations and work as part of a team.
Our client will consider candidates seeking full-time, part-time or term-time only employment. On offer is a competitive pro-rata salary in the region of £18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience, 20 days holiday rising to 25 days with service, contributory pension scheme and childcare vouchers.
