Are you a Database Administrator with Software Support skills (SQL coupled with a scripting language: PHP/HTML/CSS)
Have you supported software, applications or products and have the skills to do database backups, performance monitoring, and write reports?
Have you worked as a Database Developer and moved more into an application support role?

Look no further, my Central London client has the Application Support/Database Administrator job for you!

As the successful Database Engineer/Software Support applicant you will get the opportunity to work in a diverse technical environment, where not one day will be the same. You will provide application support to a large professional environment, including patching & upgrading systems, importing/exporting data, debugging errors. There will be the expectation for you to be hands on and provide development changes to fix applications.
You will also be heavily involved with their internal databases (MS SQL and MySQL) to be able to perform complex troubleshooting, backups, performance monitoring and reporting.
