I am recruiting for a very well known and highly reputable government backed financial institute based in Holborn. This organisation is going through an exciting period of growth and therefore will need to add experienced IT specialists to their senior management team.
Your new role
The opportunity has arisen for an experienced Application Lead, with around 5-6 years of experience as a lead, to join this organisation on a permanent basis. The person appointed will be part of the IT Team and responsible for architecting and designing IT Applications in-line with the Enterprise Architecture and IT Strategy. The role will principally involve managing relationships with Business Stakeholders, Change and IT to help deliver the change and IT plans for 2017/18.
You will lead the design of new applications and changes to existing applications along with taking part in architecture governance and present the application strategy that best meets business requirements. You will also provide technical assurance of the design and code delivered by 3rd Party vendors; ensure it conforms to solution design, security standards, industry best practices and non-functional requirements
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application you will at least 5-6 years experience under your belt as team lead, development lead or leading the last line of support (3rd/4th line). You will need a broad range of experience across applications including Cloud, Microsoft technologies, Packaged Apps and someone who is technology functional i.e. who understands business processes and mapping processes.
