Your new company

Landmarc is a support services company contracted to provide a safe and sustainable training estate for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation branch of the MOD. Landmarc's sites cover 3% of the UK's land mass and you'll be working from their Head Office location in Tilshead, North of Salisbury.

As a result of ongoing work on multi-million pound contracts with their MOD client, in combination with the expansion of their business into new markets, they are in a position to recruit two experienced Application Developers to their team.

Your new role
The Landmarc IT landscape has undergone a complete transformation in recent years both in terms of team structure and the technical stack the Application Development Team are responsible for. IT truly underpins the wider business strategy, being seen as an enabler for the company to grow and achieve targets. It's a friendly, welcoming environment that's well organised with a team focused on delivering quality.

Reporting to the Applications Development and Support Manager, the roles are dynamic and challenging giving the successful candidates the opportunity to work on several different projects with a variety of technologies within the Microsoft .Net stack. This would also include SharePoint, the Microsoft BI Stack and Azure for cloud services.

With many projects running concurrently it's crucial that developers are multifaceted, multi-skilled and relish a 'one team' culture where staff are encouraged to utilise the breadth of their technical capabilities and bring new ideas to the table.

Landmarc is looking to expand its in house technical capability and takes great pride in ensuring all the IT team are given access to a full training program to keep them at the leading edge of technology.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have gained an excellent level of experience covering application development across the full software lifecycle, preferably within a corporate environment.

The essentials
* 4 Years + Commercial experience with C#
* Experience working with Asp.Net MVC
* Experience of working with SQL Server
* Comfortable with Entity Framework

The desirables
* web based functionality using HTML5/Javascript
* Angular (all versions)
* Team Foundation Server
* Industry recognised qualifications such as MCPD
* Experience of working within the ITIL framework
* SharePoint 2013 / BI / Azure
* ElasticSearch / Jasmine / Karma
* Kimball Methodologies
* Swagger / Gulp

* Continuous Integration / DevOps / TDD / BDD
Candidates with eligibility to attain SC Clearance (5 years resident in the UK) are preferred.
