We are open to the person who comes in to this role… We are looking for someone with strong design skills who can prepare schematic drawings and bus wiring diagrams but someone who is confident with customers, assisting them with the technical aspects of the role and talking through.
The Application Design Engineer (Electrical / Switchgear) will be essentially working with the Project Engineers and directly with customers where you will be preparing technical drawings and bus wiring drawings for agree contracts. You will be assisting in the advising of long lead times - essentially all the technical aspects that comes with electrical manufacturing!
- Preparation of schematic drawings
- Assess technical aspects of orders and advising colleagues of anomalies and long lead time
- Assist in answering engineering queries from clients
- Check & approve drawing submissions
