We are recruiting for an Services Technician to join our team. This is a varied role where you will be given the support to enable you to develop a broad spectrum of skills.


As a Service Technician you will need to have -

• A passion for the latest Apple technology and products
• Experience in computer hardware and software diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Good customer liaison skills, ability to communicate clearly with customers at all levels of IT ?competency
• Natural ability to problem solve and an interest in hands-on repairs
• Ability to drive and a valid full driving license a distinct advantage

Details

• Salary - 17.5K Per Annum

• 5 days per week
• Working hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm - Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm Sunday

• Location - Hove
• Immediate start
• Full training will be given (ACMT Qualification)
• 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays
• Workplace Pension scheme

Role of Service Technician

• Diagnosing and problem solving issues and faults - including visual inspections to report on condition of products
• Managing an online database of insurance claims
• Use of Apple diagnostic toolkit
• Repairing a variety of Apple products (Hardware and software)
• Ability to produce reports
• Carry out daily admin within own workflow
• Involves regular liaison with customers over the phone and email
• Co-ordinating with logistics department
• Delivering devices to schools as required
