APC building Surveyor - Liverpool based. Offering training and support. £22k - £25k
Your new company
Due to continued growth, the opportunity has arisen for a proactive experienced graduate Building Surveyor to join and strengthen the Liverpool office team. They are an established Chartered Surveyor Practice situated in Liverpool City Centre offering a full range of building consultancy and architectural services. The successful candidate will benefit from a wide variety of projects and professional experiences whilst working alongside Chartered Building and Valuation Surveyors having involvement with the in-house Architect's schemes. Their projects include all the diversity and scale necessary to fulfil requirements of the RICS pathway of the APC, the experienced in-house team provide the support necessary to assist Surveyors in becoming Chartered.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the following with support and training from the director: Providing advice on the design using AutoCad, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of all types of residential and commercial property; Carry out building, condition, dilapidation and party wall surveys and report writing; Taking particulars on site, writing up specifications, obtaining estimates, planning maintenance programmes and administering contracts for all types of maintenance work; Carrying out measured surveys; prepare detailed drawings for planning and building regulations applications for all types of new build and conversion work; Undertake Contract Administrator and Project Management duties on new build and conversion projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have about 2 years building surveying experience. Working towards your APC. Good team player but able to work independently. Ability to build successful client relationships. Experience with Building Regulations and detailed design. Proficient in AutoCAD.
