Up to £60,000 + Benefits

A leading Manchester based retailer is looking to expand its analytics team by hiring a passionate Analytics Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use SQL, R, Excel and various web analytics tools to provide insight into online and in-store customer behaviours and in turn, provide recommendations to internal stakeholders. Within the role, you will manage 2 direct reports, with the expectation that will increase to 4 in the future.

Duties and Responsibilities - Analytics Manager

  • Design, plan and execute the targeting of online customers through the company's targeted marketing programme
  • Provide accurate and relevant insights to support business objectives and help inform key decisions
  • Understand and track customer journeys and behaviours
  • Improve user segmentation to increase effectiveness of online marking campaigns
  • Work closely with other internal marketing teams to aid the development of new programs as well as improving current programmes
  • Lead the team, managing a developing the 2 junior members of the team

Skills and Qualifications - Analytics Manager

  • Experienced with SQL and Excel
  • Ability to use R, Tableau or similar software is desirable
  • Bachelor's Degree in a numerate discipline
  • Experience in development of targeting and customer selections
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to present data-driven insights to stakeholders
  • Proactive, self-motivated and adept at problem-solving
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team orientated environment
