Analytics Manager - Credit Cards - Leading Portfolio
If you find yourself getting frustrated with the pace of change in your current organisation, perhaps ready to put forward your out of the box analytical ideas that have up until now been ignored, then you're exactly the type of person I'm looking to speak to. This is a unique opportunity to join a business that has grown and will continue to grow to be the best in its space, with buy-in and engagement from the top level to continue to make analytics the very core of its strategy, product proposition and decision process.
As an Analytics Manager you will sit on a primarily credit risk focused team that cover the leading Credit Card Portfolio. However, day to day, you will not be expected to cover the life cycle with a BAU focus, instead you will lead your team to discover new and exciting uses of analytics to drive change. The results of your work will feed into the BAU credit risk function, but this is a real chance to go above and beyond what has been expected of you previously and do something new. Whether that is finding ways of bringing unstructured data into the scoring process or how to use psychographic quizzes to help determine who you bring on board - the head of Analytics is behind driving innovation and change within the business.
Although you will be managerial in this role, you will still be expected to be closely in touch with your technical SAS/SQL (potentially R) skills and have a strong Credit Risk understanding, ideally of Credit Card products.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
This exciting Analytics Manager will suit a forward thinking credit risk innovator ready to drive change, the following would be expected:
- Educated to a degree level in a numerate discipline (Mathematics, Statistics etc)
- Proven skills as a hands-on analyst in a Credit Risk environment
- Strong SAS skills
- Demonstrable understanding of the full Credit Risk life-cycle
- Proven managerial experience
- Strong stakeholder management experience, comfortable delivering both technical and non-technical insight to a variety of audiences
