You will be working in a brand new state of the art laboratory, and joining a small friendly team.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
. Transfer and training of validated methodology to other analytical areas;
. Work independently and within a team to research and develop new methods where required;
. Liaise with the formulation department and regularly communicate progress directly and during meetings;
. Identify and implement new technologies to improve analytical processes within the laboratory
. Perform general laboratory work and duties.
To apply for the role of Analytical Development Chemist, you will need to have the following:
. Significant relevant experience in method development and validating analytical methods, with an excellent knowledge of HPLC and/or GC, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.
. A degree (or equivalent) in a chemistry-based discipline.
. Ability to use computer software packages, such as chromatography data systems, LIMS and Excel, for the collection, progressing and reporting of data.
. Experience in the techniques of TLC and titrimetric analysis and experience of equipment troubleshooting and maintenance would be beneficial.
